๐ Get ready to blast off into the exciting world of microgravity and space experiments! We have some awesome news to share with you.
๐ฐ๏ธ๐จโ๐ This month, a NASA astronaut has successfully installed Redwire Space‘s groundbreaking T-Paola Experiment onto the International Space Station.
T-Paola, short for “ThermovibrationallyโDriven Particle Self-Assembly and Ordering mechanisms in Low gravity,” was placed in the ISS Microgravity Science Glovebox. And get this: it’s the last experiment for the Redwire Europe team’s longest-running instrument, the Selectable Optic Diagnostics Instrument (SODI), which LAMBDA-X | Masters In Innovation built the entire optical assembly for.
But here’s the really impressive part – Lambda-X’s space optics have an astounding lifespan. Even after 13 years on the ISS, enduring the most extreme space conditions, they still perform flawlessly.

๐งช๐จโ๐ฌ Since its launch in November 2009 on Space Shuttle Atlantis’ STS-129 mission, SODI has been a trusted scientific tool for the European Space Agency. It has conducted fluid science experiments, examining more than 30 liquids in space and providing invaluable insights to the scientific community.
This is a powerful testament to the top-notch quality of Lambda-X’s optics.
๐๐ So, join us in celebrating this incredible milestone and the latest achievement in the fascinating field of space research!
